Handmade, Hand Stitched, Leather Book Cover.  

This robust leather has a waxy finish and medium temper. It features a a medium pull-up and it naturally creases, developing a vintage-looking patina over time. Rough and rugged with a timeless appearance.  Each piece is as unique as the words that fill the book that it hugs! Expect a of variations in this leather!

Thickness: 1.8 to 2.0 mm
Tannage: Chrome Tan

Instead of an elastic belly band as a closure, a snap closure is available as an add on purchase.  

Small addition included to the width with this leather related to it's firm nature. This ensures a good fit with a stiffer spine.  If you prefer a more custom size, please choose the size closest and send me a message!  

This leather holds up very well as a traveler's notebook.  Add strings, see photos.  If choosing to add strings, please consider width, if you would like additional width, add to order notes.  My standard additional width is 1/4 inch but I am happy to accommodate whatever you need.
